And now the rest of the story

Ok so Dane is back in black or red. sunscreen is very ineffective at these tempuratures. Don´t worry I´m not badly burned but I do wish I had a hat. Anyways in cleaning my wound the other day the gauze Kenny and I put on was stuck to my finger. It was gross and I took pictures but after much soaking and pulling and cutting I managed to pull off the gauze without hurting myself. The wrist wound may becoming infecting though. I cleaned it extremely well earlier today though and it feels and looks much better. THe burgers we had had hot dog sausage, hamburger, beef, chicken, egg, and bacon. It was delectable. I ate things until I could eat it as a burger. For those of you that don´t read comments we have Clayton´s passport in ou possesion now.
So yesterday we finished painting and staining the shed and barn horray!!! there was much rejoicing. Paul had us stain a Aframe cottage they have. All was well on the western front until silly old Clayton decided he was to good for the roof. So he broke it. That´s right Clayton fell through the roof. Don´t worry he´s okay though he hit the ceiling and it stopped his fall. We thanked God for that.
Today we washed the car and then Paul took us on a tour of the town. It was pretty cool but very hot. Amanda and Glasia came along but got very tired and hot and comendeered Lynne and I to carry them back. After that staining at the church! yay! We´re getting a little tired of paint and stain but that´s ok! after that we rinsed ourselves in the shower before heading over to the English school. Unfourtunatly church is longer than we are in the classes with the students and that brings us to now. Yep I´m in the English school blogging. I thought it mad a pretty neat story so... When we have more I´ll write more Ciao for now!

So glad Clay has his passport! PTL!

Duck-Tape it to your chest and leave it there for the duration!

I think we are going to have to send you guys to workman's comp schol or something when you get back. Oh do be careful! Thankful the wounds are healing and you are in good hands with the Lord and Abels.

Love Mom (Rob)

wow, the stories you guys have for us. I think that Lynne or Erin should now be in charge of Claytons passport so her can get back out of the country. Dane, you make that burger sound even worse. And I am excited that you took pictures of your finger. haha
Take care you guys.

Dane soak your cuts in hot soapy or salt water. I'm serious. bad infections run in this family and we don't need anything amputated.

That being said it sounds like you are having a gas, hope you are writing down your experiences cuz we are interested in them and they will make great stories for your grandchildren. lol

Be safe.
Love Danesmom

Wow! What a team you are! I have enjoyed reading your blogs today!
Can't wait to see some pictures...not of Dane's hand though.
You are in our prayers. The 1st years are missing you (a little!). They had a great weekend at Mulhurst Camp.
I agree with the moms...be safe, soak the wounds,.....
You will be such a blessing and be blessed. It is incredible that you can have such an experience. Treasure it all in your hearts. (and journalling is a good idea!)
We are in His care, here and there.
Love and prayers,
Marlys (& Len) - Kara's mom & dad

HEY its adelle..so i didnt figure out this blog site until just now where i have read all the blogs so dont worry i caught up. That is so exciting that you get to work at a camp... quantos criancas? i expect u can read my random portuguese thatim slipping in here.and whats the camp look like? Its probably so insanely beautiful. Como esta CLayton's perdo(foot?)? Lynne said it was purple and ended at that but i seem to think a purple foot is a huge ordeal. He needs to deal with that right away and if any of your sunburns start bubbling...just gross. ok well keep posting things its fun to read about your guys trip and im glad your having an awesome time.
well guys eu precise dormir por que estou cansada

Hey Dane, your moms right you should soak your arm if its bad, oh and by the by with the high humidity your bandage might be getting wet and restricting airflow to the area of your wound causing it to look worse than it is so you should be changing it often with a sterile dressing (behold my EMT skills lol) if the area of the wound is significantly warmer than the skin around (providing its not sunburnt)swelling occurs and/or a rash starts creeping up your arm from the site then you should get help... not the psychological kind. yes thats right your friend worries more than your mother! oh and as for falling through the roof... thats awesome!!! you guys have the best stories.

Hey you guys, I never thought there was such a thing as a 'hamburger-hotdog' Ha ha!! CLBI first day was the only time I had ever heard of one, and now you are eating them, delux style!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Can't wait to see you again.
Clayton - lighten up Eh! Joking.
