So I was unable to get the girls to blog, aside from the short post Lynne put up but I'm still trying. They sounded like they had an interesting time. Alright so Chariots of Fire was pretty good. After that we just relaxed most of the day and watched another movie! This one had a purpose. To fold tracks. Very serious business requiring persicion and technique envied by many. So we threw on Sergant Bilko to pass the time while we did it. The girls got back later that night and we really did not do much else.
Sunday was very uneventful. I think everyone took a nap and Kenny and I played soccer with some of the local kids. It was English speakers against non for the first part. We won so feel free to congradulate us when we get back on our awesome victory over the Brazilians and not on my spelling. Oh Sunday we also performed two songs as it was our last Sunday in Buitas and Campo Largo as well Kenny and Erin shared their testimonies while Becky translated. Kenny Played guitar and I played bass which worked well at the first church but at the second the tuning was out so I couldn't play. It was good but we made the services very long and Clayton and I had no one translating for both of them, but that's okay.
Anyhow today we finished painting the church while the girls worked at a preschool. Lunch time we headed over to a house about a block away to eat lunch served by one of the familes in the church. It was pretty good and cool that we got to eat in a Brazillian home. After an afternoon of painting we headed back to Paul and Becky's again. Good news all. My finger is well enough for me to play guitar again! Horzah!!! My wrist could be better but I'm still not too worried about it. It's getting smaller day by day so...
It's finally cold over here. Not Canada cold but it's only like plus 15 or something. Brrrr. People are in pants :D hehe be jealous.
Kenny says we have no more social skills. We won't be able to social well when we get back. All we're good at is pretending we know what Porteguese means. It's kind of true. We figure we've been talking to about 10 people in English on any given day. So we're used to just talking with each other and not big groups. And we have to think about everything we say. This is probably a good thing but it means when we get back we're gonna have all these habits and we will likely be overwhelmed by being able to be a part of any conversation we want. It should be an experiance.
Anyways Hi from all. I hope your lives are going well. Continue to pray for us. We appreciate it.
God Bless
Dane

Cold?! Dont even! Today was -26! Thanks for the continued updates, and I am glad your finger is getting better, and not infected.
Love you all!
Hey you,
Good to know you're in one piece. I always knew you were a fantastic soccer player but a bad speller. :)
Hope all is well, and it'll be good to have quiet Dane for at least... oh, a week. :p
Carly
