Oh Mr. Sun

Alright so as predicted yesterday was very busy. We began by painting again and painted till about supper when most of the campers had arrived. Kenny had the brilliant idea of only applying sunscreen to where it was burned to even it out. yes you guessed it he got even more burned as did Clayton and of course not to be the odd man out I (Dane) burned my arms and a very odd looking spot on my back. Oh the sun. Luckly it would sprinkle rain down every once and a while just to keep us cool. After supper we had Chapel and met Paul's sister who is staying with them while her kids attend camp. It's been a lot of fun playing with the kids. They split all of us up into diffrent rooms which adds to the fun and some to the stress, but it's good. Today we took the kids on a hike while the rest of the councilors had a meeting. They have some beautiful nature here. Us boys worked on the shed for the morning after that while the girls played with the kids. I of course was the most intelligent of the day and am now sunburned rather badly. Long story short there is a lot of sun here making it very hot and burning all of us. Even in places where we use sunscreen. Today was also the hottest We think it's been here so far. you could feel yourself burning if you were in the sun. Supper was also dress up rediculous day. So many of the kids had underwear on their heads or something inside out. The winner I believe had a motorcycle helmet on. They were quite comical to watch. There's the summary for the past 2 days. Continue to pray that Clayton's passport will arrive safely, as it is not yet here. Ciao from all of us down south.

Glad to hear you are avoiding the poisonous fauna at least. How is it only the boys manage to get sunburned? We continue to pray for you all.

glad to hear you guys are having a good time...i hope you guys know that sunblock doesn't last for 8 hours if you are sweating lots it "washes" it away meaning you need to reapply like every two hours at least...but for some reason i don't see you three guys as the type who does that i am speaking from many burning experiences
