Sun Surf Sand and Salt

Ok well as usual it's Dane suprise suprise. To firstl;y reply to your comments we're taking lots of pictures and jounalling lots too. well I am anyways Clayton's foot peeled some but looks fine for the most part now. and mom I am soaking my wounds in salt water... ALL DAY! That's right it was beach day over here. So we hopped in the car and drove the back way so we could see the beautiful jungle. It was amazing Finally after random stops and drinking sugar cane juice and walking on rocks in the river we got to the beach. It was amazing. We had a body board along and we all surfed it. it was amazing. And only kenny got burned badly. it was good. finally after a long hard day of surf and sun we spent the night at a german hotel after crossing over to an island on a ferry. the salt really stung my wrist but my finger didn't fair too poorly. anyhow then today we went on a schooner it was quiet good. We got to swim in the ocean near shore so we swam to shore. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that i managed to not hurt myself these past 2 days. the bad news is that lynne was not so lucky... She cut open her foot on a barnacle on that beach. I helped her dress it when we got back. After that Kenny and I exhausted ourselves swimming against the current back to the boat a ways. it was hard and I was exhausted after. After that and lunch we shopped for a while in sprinkling rain and then headed home just as the rain began to pore. Paul's sister was nearly run off the road by some semi's a couple of times but we made it back alive. right now we are waiting for supper in the living room. and now i'm going to join everyone else ciao

Thanks Dane- you must be the official scribe. Thanks for keeping us updated.

It has been good to see the photo of team Brazil on the PP each morning at school and know that we can pray for you. We will continue to pray for safety (go slowly) and health (take your vitamins). Kenny, we are praying for your Grandpa Ken. He is a sweet man who I can still visualize standing up and leading us in opening exercises at Sunday School when I was around 11-12.

Take care of yourselves. Blessings!

Rob

Hi Kenny and team,
I hope you are enjoying the sun and surf. In Saskatchewan today friday we are to get down to -28 with -40 wind chill. Grandpa Jorgenson is still about the same but all of his kids will be in Ponoka on Sunday. God bless, stay safe. Our prayers are with you.
